What are the different types of tow bars?
There are 3 main types of tow bars; flange, swan neck and detachable. A flange is when a tow ball is bolted to the tow bar, this is always fixed directly to the vehicle. Swan neck is the same as the flange however the neck looks a bit more like the detachable system. The detachable tow bar can be removed from the car quite easily and placed in the boot.
